Who we are
Elikiafrika is a grassroots initiative born in Goma, a city torn by conflict but rich in resilience. We work with children,young people, women,leaders and communities devastated by decades of war, displacement, and poverty.
In Eastern DRC, communities have suffered decades of war, displacement, and insecurity, often fueled by mineral exploitation. Weak governance, poor access to education, and a lack of ethical leadership have left citizens disconnected and communities fractured. Many young people grow up without political education, mentorship, or safe spaces to engage, feeling powerless and without hope for the future. This situation prevents healing, trust-building, and sustainable development. Without deliberate interventions, cycles of violence, mistrust, and ineffective governance will continue. Communities urgently need programs that equip children,women and youth to become responsible, visionary, and ethical leaders capable of restoring trust, fostering dialogue, and guiding society toward lasting peace and sustainable development.
Our approach combines education, dialogue, recognition, justice, storytelling, environmental conscious and community action to shape a new generation of leaders who can rebuild trust and harmony.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower future leaders with political knowledge, ethical grounding, and transformative skills to rebuild conflict-affected communities and foster inclusive governance in a clean and healthy environment.
Whether it’s learning to lead with integrity, understanding how politics shapes our daily lives, finding tools to rebuild communities after conflict, or simply realizing that change begins within Elikia Afrika is here to walk beside every young person ready to make a difference.
We believe that hope is more than a word it’s action. Through civic education, peacebuilding, and leadership training, we help children,youth and women discover their voice, strengthen their values, and build a future rooted in justice and care for both people and the planet.
No matter where they come from or what they’ve faced, we make sure that every young leader receives the guidance, knowledge, and inspiration they need to rise for themselves, for their communities, and for Africa.

Our entire team dreams of an Africa where every young person especially those affected by conflict or hardship feels seen, supported, and empowered to rise. We want every children,youth and women to know that they can reach out and find people ready to guide them with education, leadership training, and opportunities to grow.
